Today's modern technology printers are capable of producing incredibly detailed prints for both the fine art and photographic needs. Our Giclee prints process uses the latest in digital print technology and is typically created using professional 12-Color HP Z series ink-jet printers; which is capable of printing up to 1440dpi in full color print with a width of 44". These printers use the CMYK color process using multiple cartridges for variations of each color allowing them to reach a maximum color gamut. Your images can be printed on either, art canvas, fine art paper, photo paper and poster paper.
The giclee printing process is used to make high end, high quality reproductions of original two dimensional artwork, photographs, or computer generated art. Giclee printing allows artistic control amongst other numerous advantages throughout every aspect of the image production. Giclee prints are an attractive alternative to more expensive forms of art due to the ease of reproduction, virtually print on demand and the relatively inexpensive cost. Archived files will not inherently deteriorate in quality as do some film and negatives. Another tremendous advantage of giclee printing is that digital images can be reproduced to almost any size and onto various media, giving the artist the ability to customize each print. Our graphics department can also help with digital services like image repair, color correction, image editing/manipulation of digital images file.

What is Giclee?Giclee (pronounced "zhee-clay)" A French word meaning "nozzle" or possibly a derivative of the French verb "gicler" meaning "to squirt". The process of making fine art prints. Giclee prints are images generated from high resolution digital scans or files, printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. This process produces better color accuracy and a far superior depth and range of colors than other means of reproduction such as that of lithography prints. Giclees also have a higher resolution than any other prints and uses ink-jet printers employing fade resistant "archival" inks. The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.
